May 4, 2013. Craig Kelloway, 31, of Calgary, Alta., formerly of Glace Bay, died following an altercation in a neighbour’s home.
Oct. 28, 2015, Nicholas Rasberry, 32, was acquitted of second-degree murder in Kelloway’s death but found guilty of manslaughter.
Dec. 11, 2015, Rasberry was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Feb. 11, 2016, Rasberry was freed on bail pending an appeal.
Nov. 8, 2016, The Crown began an appeal of the second-degree murder acquittal and the defence began an appeal of Rasberry’s manslaughter conviction.
Feb. 12, 2017, Rasberry was arrested and charged with three counts of breaching his release conditions and resisting arrest.
