Trial date to be set for Dominion man
SYDNEY — A 44-year-old Dominion man is to appear in Supreme Court next month to receive a trial date on charges including unlawful entry. Stephen Edward Sampson of Park Street will also stand trial on charges of uttering a threat and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (a knife). The offences are alleged to have occurred Sept. 25, 2015, in Dominion. A trial date will be set March 6. Meanwhile, Sampson is scheduled back in provincial court Feb. 22 to enter pleas on four counts of uttering threats and three counts of assault and a single count of breaching a court order. The offences are alleged to have occurred April 7, 2016 in Glace Bay. Sampson continues his release on conditions.
