Two arrested following Waycobah drug bust
WAYCOBAH — Two Waycobah residents are facing charges after police seized a quantity of drugs during a recent search of a residence in the First Nations community.
The Inverness District RCMP reported that following an investigation its Street Crime Enforcement Unit performed a search of a home and found marijuana products and oxycodone pills. Brett Albert Waters, 24, and Patricia Bernard, 41, both of Waycobah, were arrested following the seizure and subsequently each was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
They are scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury provincial court on March 27.
