Trial set on mischief charges
SYDNEY — A 19-year-old North Sydney man is to return to provincial court in November for a trial on multiple mischief charges relating to graffiti.
Daniel Alexander Matthews is charged with five counts of mischief and a single count of uttering a threat. The offences are alleged to have occurred between November 2016 and March.
He was charged after a Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into a complaint about graffiti markings on several businesses and one vehicle.
A trial date of Nov. 23 was set Monday after a brief court appearance.
