With heavy hearts, we the fam­ily of Sheila MacNeil, age 82, re­grets to an­nounce her sud­den pass­ing on Satur­day April 29, 2017 at home.

Born in New Water­ford, she was the daugh­ter of the late Lawrence and Alice (Quinn) Cameron. Sheila was a kind hearted and com­pas­sion­ate per­son who cared deeply for ev­ery­one who en­tered her home. She al­ways made sure you were greeted with a cup of tea. She had a love for an­i­mals es­pe­cially for her three cats.

Sheila is sur­vived by her daugh­ters, Selina, Cas­silda (Glenn) Barry, Pet­rina (Gary) Boutilier and spe­cial grand­daugh­ters, Brittany (Ja­son) and Bre­anne (Dave) whom she cher­ished deeply. She will be also be dearly missed by her niece, Mar­illa and neph­ews, Doug, Wayne Fraser and also Sonny and Se­lena Pearson from On­tario whom she looked for­ward to see­ing dur­ing the sum­mer months.

Sheila was pre­de­ceased by her hus­band, Dun­can; son and daugh­ter in in­fancy and a grand­daugh­ter, Court­ney and her sis­ter, Alice Fraser.

At her re­quest there will be no vis­i­ta­tion. Cre­ma­tion has taken place un­der the care and di­rec­tion of V.J. McGil­livray Fu­neral Home, 380 Smith St., New Water­ford.

A fu­neral mass of cel­e­bra­tion will take place Wed­nes­day, May 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Parish Church of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Av­enue, with Fa­ther Ray Hunt­ley of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will be in Mount Carmel Ceme­tery with a lun­cheon to fol­low at the Knights of Colum­bus Hall, Plum­mer Av­enue, New Water­ford. Do­na­tions in her mem­ory may be made to the Feral and Aban­doned Cat So­ci­ety.
