It is with great sad­ness that we an­nounce the death of Elaine Landry of Bal­ti­more at The Monc­ton Hos­pi­tal, Satur­day, April 29, 2017. Born 1946 in North Sydney, NS, she was the daugh­ter of the late Bill and Kaye (John­son) Bro­phy.

Elaine worked as a nurse at the Cape Bre­ton and Monc­ton Hos­pi­tal as a psy­chi­atric nurse prior to her re­tire­ment.

She will be deeply missed by her hus­band, Regi­nald (Reg) Landry; daugh­ter, Amanda Boisjoli (Paul) of Lower Sackville, NS; step daugh­ter, Kristin Landry of Monc­ton; step son, Michael Landry (Tina); brother, Ralston Bro­phy of Mul­grave; grand­chil­dren, Mor­gan, Nathan, Caleb and Alyssa, as well as sev­eral nieces and neph­ews and her nurs­ing friends, Marge and Joyce, who were by her side un­til the end.

Be­sides her par­ents, she was pre­de­ceased by brothers, John­son, Se­ward, Jerome, Rus­sel and Win­ston.

A time of re­mem­brance will take place at St Lawrence Parish, Mul­grave, NS, on May 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. with the in­ter­ment to take place at the St. Lawrence Parish Ceme­tery, Mul­grave, NS.
