Driver charged with stunting in Port Hastings
PORT HASTINGS — A 22-year-old man was charged with stunting Wednesday after RCMP clocked him travelling more than 50 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.
The man was observed driving 122 km/h in a 70 km/h zone in Port Hasting, Inverness County, at 9:45 a.m.
The driver was fined $2,422.50, his licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was seized under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act.
