Eska­soni’s Ja­cob Denny of the Cape Bre­ton Union­ized Trades­men (above) is the top-ranked Cape Bre­toner for the up­com­ing QMJHL draft. Denny is pegged in the fourth round, No. 70 over­all. Also ranked are Cape Bre­ton West for­ward Lo­gan Chisholm of Up­per Pom­quet, who’s slated for the sec­ond round, while Antigo­nish na­tive Ja­cob Stewart of the Is­lan­ders is ranked in the fourth round. Rounds 6-8 in­clude Tyler Mor­timer of the Trades­men and Sean Stewart of the Is­lan­ders. Rounds 9-12 fea­ture Ty­tan Dono­van of the Trades­men and Jack Mor­ris of the Is­lan­ders. Also el­i­gi­ble for the draft are Is­lan­ders play­ers Mal­colm MacEach­ern, Liam MacK­in­non and Calum MacPher­son.
