Motor stolen from boat on Grand Mira South Road
SYDNEY, N.S. — Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating after a motor was stolen from a boat last month.
The engine was covered and attached to a boat sitting at the rear of 3560 Grand Mira South Road when it was stolen. Police responded to the report of its theft on April 22 and learned that the black control wires were cut to remove the 2005 Mercury motor sometime in the previous two weeks. The engine is a 9.9 horsepower, four-stroke, model No. F9.9 EL, with serial No. OR161018.
