Two Do­min­ion men re­leased on con­di­tions

SYD­NEY — Two Do­min­ion men fac­ing drugs charges were re­leased from cus­tody Mon­day on a host of con­di­tions. Al­lan Ja­son Par­sons, 20, of Neville Street, is charged with two counts of pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing in­volv­ing cocaine and mar­i­juana. He also faces a sin­gle count of pos­ses­sion of hashish.

Tan­ner Pickup, 19, of Ocean Street, is charged with pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing in cocaine.

Both were re­leased af­ter each posted a $10,000 prop­erty surety and agreed to ad­here to a num­ber of con­di­tions in­clud­ing hav­ing no con­tact with each other, re­frain from al­co­hol and drugs not pre­scribed to them, not to posses a cell­phone or pager and to abide by a cur­few. The pair is now ex­pected to en­ter pleas to the charges June 5.

They were ar­rested last week by Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Po­lice af­ter a ve­hi­cle stop in Do­min­ion and the sub­se­quent search of a Neville Street home dur­ing which po­lice seized a large quan­tity of cocaine, mar­i­juana, hashish and drug para­pher­na­lia.
