Two Dominion men released on conditions
SYDNEY — Two Dominion men facing drugs charges were released from custody Monday on a host of conditions. Allan Jason Parsons, 20, of Neville Street, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking involving cocaine and marijuana. He also faces a single count of possession of hashish.
Tanner Pickup, 19, of Ocean Street, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.
Both were released after each posted a $10,000 property surety and agreed to adhere to a number of conditions including having no contact with each other, refrain from alcohol and drugs not prescribed to them, not to posses a cellphone or pager and to abide by a curfew. The pair is now expected to enter pleas to the charges June 5.
They were arrested last week by Cape Breton Regional Police after a vehicle stop in Dominion and the subsequent search of a Neville Street home during which police seized a large quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hashish and drug paraphernalia.
