Trial set for Neils Harbour man on intimidation charge
SYDNEY — A trial date has been set for a Neils Harbour man facing charges that include intimidation of a witness. Charles William Briand, 57, is also charged with mischief in relation to interfering with the property of the witness, impaired driving and driving with a blood/alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in April in Neils Harbour. After a brief court appearance Wednesday, Briand was ordered to stand trial Aug. 8. He continues his release on conditions.
