Cape Breton Post - - Cape Breton -

SYDNEY — A Supreme Court trial date is expected to be set in July for a Glace Bay man charged with first-degree murder. Raymond Glenn Farrow, 49, of 47 Fourth St. is charged in the death of 82-year-old Harold (Buster) Slaunwhite who was found dead in his Dominion home in September 2006.

During a brief provincial court appearance Wednesday, Farrow waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will now proceed to trial in Supreme Court. The trial date is scheduled to be set July 5.
