Sydney man elects Supreme Court trial
SYDNEY — One of two Sydney men facing arson charges has elected to be tried by a Supreme Court judge alone.
Kirk Bryden MacDonald, 32, of Charlotte Street, is charged with arson in relation to damage to property (a vehicle).
The offence is alleged to have occurred April 6 in Sydney.
MacDonald is now to have a preliminary hearing on the charge Oct.6.
A co-accused in the case has yet to make an election to the charge.
