Sen­tenc­ing date set for Syd­ney man

SYD­NEY — A Syd­ney man will be sen­tenced in Septem­ber af­ter plead­ing guilty to three counts of breach­ing court or­ders.

Justin Brad­shaw Crane, 23, of Whit­ney Pier, was charged with breach­ing his pro­ba­tion con­di­tions that in­cluded he have no con­tact with any­one un­der 16 and he re­frain from at­tend­ing ar­eas where those un­der 16 are likely to gather.

The of­fences oc­curred be­tween Jan­uary and May 2016. Brad­shaw was placed on pro­ba­tion af­ter plead­ing guilty to sex­ual in­ter­fer­ence in­volv­ing a nine-year-old boy.

In ad­di­tion to pro­ba­tion, he also served a 90-day jail sen­tence on the charge. Sen­tenc­ing for the breach vi­o­la­tions is now set for Sept. 11.
