Fishery offences stayed against Glace Bay man
SYDNEY — Fishery charges against a Glace Bay man, alleged to have occurred in 2012, have been stayed.
Laurie Lloyd, 66, was charged along with three other individuals and a fish company. Lloyd was facing seven offences including producing documents with false or misleading information. The offences were alleged to have been committed in North Sydney.
A stay means the Crown has one year in which to re-file the charges. If not re-filed, all counts are considered dismissed.
