Billy Ray Cyrus coming to P.E.I.
Cavendish Beach Music Festival adds well-known name
Billy Ray Cyrus will be playing at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival this summer.
He will be part of a lineup at what organizers call the Cavendish Farms kitchen stage.
Event organizers unveiled Thursday a new list of artists that will be playing at this area of the festival.
Joining Cyrus will be Amanda Riley, DJ Bad Ash, Eloie Richard, EmiSunshine, Endless Summer, Jason Price, JJ Shiplett, Rawlins Cross, Rik Reese, Sykamore, The Good Brothers, The Lovelocks, The Mountain Faith Band, The Stanfields, TJ King and Tony Jackson.
Some of those will also perform for a free, family-friendly party to get the festival underway. Called the tailgate party, it will be held Thursday, July 6 from 6 to 10 p.m.
It will include performances by DJ Bad Ash, Johnson Crook, John King and Mountain Faith Band.
Chef Shaun O’Neale will also be at the festival, preparing food for patrons. He is the season seven winner of the American MasterChef show.
The announcement Thursday also included additional names for the main stage.
They are Andrew Hyatt, Lucas Hoge, MaKayla Lynn and Port Cities.
