Trial set for Glace Bay man on theft charge
SYDNEY — A provincial court trial date was set Monday for a Glace Bay man charged after police went public with a video. Kenneth Allan Morrison, 38, of Kaneville Road is charged with theft under $5,000. Cape Breton Regional Police released video surveillance as they investigated a complaint of theft after a woman left her bankcard in an ATM. The account was accessed and $200 was withdrawn.
The offence is alleged to have occurred last Nov. 15 at the Glace Bay Credit Union.
A trial on the charge is now set for July 24. Morrison continues his release on conditions.
