North Sydney man fined on drug offence
SYDNEY — A North Sydney man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a reduced drug charge.
Eric Dwight Rudderham, 55, was initially charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in hydromorphone.
He pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of possession of hydromorphone along with a single count of breaching a court order.
He was issued a fine on both charges of $520. A co-accused on the drug charge, Shawn Alan Mitchelitis, 31, was also in court Monday and his case was adjourned until May 29. Mitchelitis is on remand facing additional charges including multiple counts of breach.
