It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our Joe MacMullin 61, Friday, May 12, 2017 surrounded by his family at the Glace Bay Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Glace Bay Joe was the son on the late Rod & Tina (MacDonald) MacMullin.
Joe was a loving Husband, Father, Grand Da & Friend who love with all his heart. He spent 25 yrs. in the Military serving 23 yrs. as a Military Police Officer, retiring from CFB Greenwood in 1995.
Joe is survived by the love of his life & best friend, his wife of 43 yrs., Camille (Wilson); his only daughter, Stacy (Jason) Turnbull and his “two boys” the pride & joy of his life, his grandsons, Justin and Jordan Turnbull. Joe is also survived by two sisters, Ann (Billy) Boozan, Winnie (the late Mike) Chafe; two brothers, Andre (Arlene) MacMullin, Jim (Sharon) MacMullin; sisters-in-law, Trudy Tracey, Mitzie (Jake) MacLean, Sheilah White (Rae MacMillan); brother-in-law, Jr (Theresa) Wilson; along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents, Joe is predeceased by his brother, Sonny MacMullin; his mother-in-law, Marie Wilson and loving nephew, Jamie Boozan.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, 902-849-4199, from were a celebration of Joe’s life will be on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11a.m., in the funeral home chapel.

Special Thanks to the staff of 3E & 3W of the Glace Bay Hospital, especially Adrian who Joe made a special connection with, Dr. Jamie MacLean, the Dr.’s, Nurses & staff of the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, Palliative Care, VON, the many Paramedics, who drove Joe back and forth and Special Friends, Rosella & Wayne.
