It is with pro­found sad­ness and bro­ken hearts that we, the fam­ily, an­nounce the pass­ing of Al­bert Joseph Travaline. He passed away peace­fully at the New Water­ford Con. Hospi­tal on Satur­day, May 13, 2017 at the age of 96. Born on Oc­to­ber 17, 1920, he was the son of the late James and Stella (Mu­sial) Travaline.

Al­bert was life­long res­i­dent of Gardiner Mines. He op­er­ated a dairy farm for over 40 years, was an avid gar­dener and his favourite pas­time was read­ing.

He is sur­vived by his sis­ters, Eleanor and Clau­dia; as well as sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

Be­sides his par­ents, he is pre­de­ceased by his brother, Ron­ald, and his sis­ter, Elsie.

By re­quest, there will be no vis­i­ta­tion. A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in For­est Haven Me­mo­rial Gar­den un­der the di­rec­tion of McLel­lan Broth­ers Fu­neral Home, 3183 Plum­mer Ave, New Water­ford, NS, 902862-7500.
