Drug charges dismissed against Antigonish man
SYDNEY — Drug charges against an Antigonish man were dismissed Monday during a provincial court appearance. Marco Christian Wood, 43, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana and hashish. He was also charged with two counts of trafficking involving the same drugs. Wood was scheduled to stand trial on the charges in July. He was among 24 people arrested in 2013 as part of a 13month RCMP investigation into drug trafficking in eastern Nova Scotia.
