Help needed to solve crime

SYD­NEY— Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the burn­ing down of a smok­ers’ hut at Ser­vi­com.

On May 12, Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Po­lice re­sponded to Ser­vi­com, lo­cated at 90 Inglis St., Syd­ney to a re­port of ar­son. At about 4:26 a.m., the smok­ers’ hut was de­stroyed by a fire that ap­pears to have been de­lib­er­ately set.

A sus­pect was ob­served on se­cu­rity video col­lect­ing cig­a­rettes butts along the edge of the park­ing lot clos­est to the build­ing. The sus­pect then en­tered the hut and ap­peared to light a garbage can on fire near the front of the hut.
