Help needed to solve crime

SYDNEY— Cape Breton Regional Police are investigat­ing the burning down of a smokers’ hut at Servicom.

On May 12, Cape Breton Regional Police responded to Servicom, located at 90 Inglis St., Sydney to a report of arson. At about 4:26 a.m., the smokers’ hut was destroyed by a fire that appears to have been deliberate­ly set.

A suspect was observed on security video collecting cigarettes butts along the edge of the parking lot closest to the building. The suspect then entered the hut and appeared to light a garbage can on fire near the front of the hut.
