Coal should be transported by rail
Sometimes people cannot see the forest for the trees.
Why not transport the coal from the Donkin coal mine by rail? It was done this way for decades and decades in Cape Breton.
The problem would be solved by laying the necessary rails to join up to the existing railroad. It seems a safe and sensible solution to me.
The Lingan Power Plant is supplied by rail. Build the rail addition and avoid lives being needlessly lost.
