It was a big night for home­town fighter Josh Prince (above). The 17-year-old Tri-Town boxer from Ge­orges River took home a unan­i­mous de­ci­sion win and was named fighter of the night at his club’s Fight Night Round 4 on Satur­day at the Emera Cen­tre North­side, beat­ing Tamimi Jorche of Hal­i­fax’s Citadel Box­ing. In the co-main event, Prince’s Tri-Town team­mate Matthew Mac­Don­ald dropped the co-main event against Ring 73’s Aaron Chris­tiansen of Gar­diner Mines. In other bouts, Ryan Col­lier of TriTown won by unan­i­mous de­ci­sion over James Thorne of N.L., while Kaleb Jes­some Tri-Town lost by ref­eree stop­page to Kyle Wood­worth of Mem­ber­tou, Ma­son MacKeigan Tri-Town beat Ri­ley Sha­heen of Al­bion Box­ing by split­de­ci­sion, and Thomas Fos­ter if Tri-Town dropped unan­i­mous de­ci­sion loss to Gary Wood­burn of Mem­ber­tou.
