Fines is­sued on drug pos­ses­sion

SYD­NEY — Two peo­ple fac­ing drug traf­fick­ing charges pleaded guilty Tues­day to reduced of­fences and were is­sued fines.

Kim­berly Ann Whitty, 37, of Cale­do­nia Street, North Syd­ney, and David Dean Gra­ham, 36, of Kitch­ener Street, Syd­ney, were jointly charged with two counts of pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing (co­caine and hy­dro­mor­phone) and a sin­gle count of pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana.

Whitty is also fac­ing two counts of breach­ing court or­ders while Gra­ham faces a sin­gle count of breach.

The of­fences were al­leged to have oc­curred Jan. 19, 2016, in North Syd­ney. Gra­ham pleaded guilty to two counts of pos­ses­sion of co­caine and hy­dro­mor­phone while Whitty pleaded guilty to a sin­gle count of pos­ses­sion. Gra­ham was fined a to­tal of $726 and placed on pro­ba­tion for one-year. Whitty was fined $263 and also or­dered to com­plete a one-year pro­ba­tion pe­riod.
