Anniversary service on Sunday

LOUISBOURG – Zion Presbyterian Church will celebrate its 85th anniversary on Sunday, July 30 at 7 p.m.

The present church was built and dedicated in 1932 although the members of the congregation had been active since the early 1900s. Special music will be provided and a time of tea and fellowship will follow the service. Lorrie O’Hara White will be the guest speaker. She is a former resident of Louisbourg but now lives in B.C. She and her husband Dr. John White served on various mission fields over the years and pastored churches throughout Canada and the U.S.
