• The Old Syd­ney So­ci­ety was founded in 1966 to save an en­dan­gered his­toric prop­erty, St. Pa­trick’s Church, from de­mo­li­tion.

• The Old Syd­ney So­ci­ety is a non-profit, vol­un­teer-driven or­ga­ni­za­tion that man­ages four mu­se­ums in Syd­ney’s his­toric district.

• The four mu­se­ums the Old Syd­ney So­ci­ety man­ages are St. Pa­trick’s Church Mu­seum, Es­planade, Cos­sit House and Jost House, both on Char­lotte Street, and the for­mer Royal Bank Build­ing, at the cor­ner of Char­lotte and Ge­orge streets.

• The Old Syd­ney So­ci­ety of­fers mu­seum ex­hibits, walk­ing tours, re-en­act­ments and events host­ing.
