Card of Thanks “George “Premer” Rutherford”

Cape Breton Post - - Obituaries -

For the many acts of kindness show to all our family during our heartbreaking loss, words cannot express enough our deepest and most heartfelt thanks and gratitude. The cards, flowers, messages, phone calls, memorial and monetary donations, visits to our home, all the hugs brought us great comfort. So much love and caring was shown to us by our families, friends, relatives, neighbours and of course all the “Boys from the Hill”. Thank you all for travelling so far to be here for us. For all the food brought and prepared and served, we are forever grateful.

Northside Downs - The “Tribute” you paid George at the races was overwhelming. Horses were always his passion.

To EHS, the staff at ER and CCU, your professional care went above and beyond. Special “Thank you” to Cathy Field-Currie for the beautiful Eulogy and all the memories of George’s Life. To all who visited Chants Funeral Home for the wake and funeral, we are forever grateful.

Thank you so much Sheldon, Jill, Aaron and all the staff from Chants for providing a Beautiful Service.

“George is gone from the earth but will always remain in our hearts”.

Mother, Shirley; son Jordan, daughters, Jessica and Shanna; sisters, Dale, Sharky (Charlene) and Brenda; brother, Slick (David)
