Point Aconi accused facing drug charges elects trial mode
SYDNEY — A Point Aconi man facing two drug offences has elected to be tried by a Supreme Court judge and jury.
Roy Edward MacLean, 60, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking involving hydromorphone and dextroamphetamine.
The offences are alleged to have occurred last Oct. 27 in Point Aconi. MacLean is now scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on the charges Jan. 3. He continues his release on conditions
