Mem­ber­tou man charged with of­fences in­clud­ing voyeurism

SYD­NEY — A Mem­ber­tou man is to re­turn to pro­vin­cial court Tues­day for a bail hear­ing on charges that in­clude voyeurism.

Dil­lon Kin­caid Ka­batay, 20, is charged with break, en­ter and theft (a res­i­dence), prowl­ing at night on pri­vate prop­erty, crim­i­nal ha­rass­ment and voyeurism by watch­ing an in­di­vid­ual sleep.

The of­fences are al­leged to have oc­curred in Mem­ber­tou July 2.

He is also charged with break and en­ter, forcible en­try and two counts of breach­ing court or­ders that are al­leged to have been com­mit­ted July 31 in Mem­ber­tou. Ka­batay made a brief court ap­pear­ance Fri­day and con­sented to a fur­ther re­mand pend­ing the out­come of his bail hear­ing.
