New Waterford man to enter pleas on fraud charges
SYDNEY — A 27-year-old New Waterford man is to return to provincial court in September to enter pleas on two fraud charges. David John MacAulay of Mahon Street is charged with defrauding two fuel companies, Sobeys Fuels and Ocean Fuels, by paying for fuel with what police now deem to have been counterfeit money.
The offences allegedly occurred in June in Scotchtown and River Ryan. MacAulay is now set to enter pleas to the charges Sept. 6.
