Membertou man to enter pleas on host of charges
SYDNEY — A Membertou man is to return to provincial court in September to enter pleas on charges that include voyeurism.
Dillon Kincaid Kabatay, 20, is charged with break, enter and theft (a residence), prowl at night on private property, criminal harassment and voyeurism by watching an individual sleep. The offences are alleged to have occurred in Membertou on July 2. He is also charged with break and enter, forcible entry and two counts of breaching court orders that were allegedly committed July 31 in Membertou. Among the conditions of his release, Kabatay is to have no contact with the complainants in the case and is to refrain from alcohol and all drugs not prescribed him by a doctor.
He is also to abide by a curfew. He is now expected to enter pleas Sept. 6.
