Mem­ber­tou man to en­ter pleas on host of charges

SYD­NEY — A Mem­ber­tou man is to re­turn to pro­vin­cial court in Septem­ber to en­ter pleas on charges that in­clude voyeurism.

Dil­lon Kin­caid Ka­batay, 20, is charged with break, en­ter and theft (a res­i­dence), prowl at night on pri­vate prop­erty, crim­i­nal ha­rass­ment and voyeurism by watch­ing an in­di­vid­ual sleep. The of­fences are al­leged to have oc­curred in Mem­ber­tou on July 2. He is also charged with break and en­ter, forcible en­try and two counts of breach­ing court or­ders that were al­legedly com­mit­ted July 31 in Mem­ber­tou. Among the con­di­tions of his re­lease, Ka­batay is to have no con­tact with the com­plainants in the case and is to re­frain from al­co­hol and all drugs not pre­scribed him by a doc­tor.

He is also to abide by a cur­few. He is now ex­pected to en­ter pleas Sept. 6.
