Judique North traf­fic stop leads to ar­rests

Just af­ter 4 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, a traf­fic stop on High­way 19 in Judique North re­sulted in the seizure of Oxy­codone. The driver of the ve­hi­cle, a 48-year-old man from On­tario, and the pas­sen­ger, a 76-year-old man from In­ver­ness, were both ar­rested and are fac­ing charges of pos­ses­sion of Oxy­codone for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing. Both men were re­leased from cus­tody and will ap­pear in Port Hawkes­bury Provin­cial Court on Sept. 25.
