TEHRAN, Iran — A daughter of Iran’s opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi, who has been under house arrest since early 2011, is holding a painting exhibition in Tehran. Narges Mousavi’s six-day exhibit, entitled “When it Dawned,’’ is her second exhibition since her father was placed under house arrest along with another opposition leader, Mahdi Karroubi. The two led street protests and challenging then-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s 2009 re-election. No charges have been raised against Mousavi and Karroubi. Narges says her exhibition is “about the contrast between coarseness of war and elegance of peace.’’
