STRAIT UNITED SOCCER TEAMS WIN PROVINCIAL TITLES

A pair of Strait United teams captured Nova Scotia provincial soccer championships last weekend. Strait (U13 Girls ‘B’) blanked East Hants 3-0 to win their title in Lunenburg last Sunday, while United (U15 Girls ‘B’) shut out Upper County 1-0 in their championship game in Antigonish on Sunday. Meanwhile, North Inverness United (U15 Boys ‘B’) defeated Kingston/ Greenwood SA 2-0 to win the bronze medal in Porter’s Lake on Sunday.
