■ Funeral procession
Canadian Armed Forces vehicles escort a funeral procession with the remains of Sgt. Ryan McLean, 37, of Glace Bay along Reserve Street in Glace Bay on Tuesday afternoon to the funeral service in the Sydney Garrison, Victoria Park in Sydney, while members of the Glace Bay, Dominion, Reserve Mines and Tower Road fire departments hold an honour guard in front of the Glace Bay Volunteer Fire Department. In the background, a Canadian flag flies from the fire station’s aerial truck. Members of the Cape Breton Regional Police Service also escorted the procession into Sydney.
