Accused elects Supreme Court trial
SYDNEY — A 26-year-old North Sydney man has elected a Supreme Court judge and jury trial on sex offences.
Robert Allan Rose of Pleasant Street is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and single counts of invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation and committing an indecent act (exposing his genitals).
The offences are alleged to have occurred between February and September in North Sydney.
Rose, who continues his release on conditions, is to return to provincial court Dec. 14 for a preliminary hearing on the charges.
