It is with heavy hearts that we, the fam­ily, an­nounce the sud­den pass­ing of our dear wife, mother, grand­mother and friend, Marge McNeil on Mon­day, Novem­ber 13, 2017 at the Har­bourview Hos­pi­tal, Syd­ney Mines.

Born in Bridge­wa­ter, she was the daugh­ter of the late John ‘Jack’ and Sadie (Dorie) Clark.

Marge held var­i­ous jobs over the years, later she was em­ployed and re­tired from the house­keep­ing depart­ment at the Seav­iew Manor. She was a mem­ber of and at­tended St. Joseph Church, Re­serve un­til her ill­ness.

Marge loved spend­ing time with fam­ily and friends, her door was al­ways opened to come in and share a cup of tea. She en­joyed singing, danc­ing and a good bowl­ing match. She also en­joyed go­ing to their bun­ga­low in Gillis Lake, trav­el­ling near and far to visit with fam­ily and friends.

Marge is sur­vived by her lov­ing husband of 67 years, Theodore ‘Ted’, who never left her side; their four chil­dren, Johnny (Wendy), Robert (Lisa), Barry and Deb­o­rah MacMullin; grand­chil­dren and great grand­chil­dren.

Be­sides her par­ents, Jack and Sadie, she was pre­de­ceased by her son-in-law, Stephen MacMullin.

Cre­ma­tion has taken place. Visi­ta­tion will be held Fri­day, Novem­ber 17, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. with a me­mo­rial ser­vice to fol­low at 2 p.m. with Fa­ther Daniel Boudreau of­fi­ci­at­ing at the T.J. Tracey Cre­ma­tion and Burial Spe­cial­ists, 370 Re­serve St., Glace Bay, NS, 902-849-4199.

Burial to take place in St. Joseph’s Ceme­tery, MacLeod’s Rd. with a re­cep­tion to fol­low at the funeral home.

Do­na­tions in Marge’s mem­ory may be made to the Alzheimer’s So­ci­ety or the SPCA.

The fam­ily would like to thank the doc­tors, nurses and staff of Taigh Solas, Har­bourview Hos­pi­tal for all their care and com­pas­sion given to Marge dur­ing the last three weeks.
