Cape Breton man to stand trial in May
SYDNEY — A Cape Breton man is to stand trial in May after being charged with two fishery offences. Stephen Walker, 57, of Georges River Road, is charged with fishing for lobster during a closed period and illegal possession of lobster.
The offences are alleged to have occurred Oct. 19 at Bungay’s Wharf in Alder Point. Walker is not set to stand trial May 31.
