Eskasoni man’s trial set for September
ESKASONI — An Eskasoni man is to return to provincial court in September for a trial on charges that include assault.
Jai Joseph Lewis, 34, is also charged with assault with a weapon (a hockey stick) and intimidation by unlawfully confining an individual to prevent them from contacting police by depriving the individual of their telephone. The offences are alleged to have occurred in February in Eskasoni. A provincial court trial is now set for Sept. 25.
