BOUDREAU, Eric Andrew 1964 - 2020

-

It is with much sadness and grief the family of Eric Andrew Boudreau announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Monday July 06, 2020. Eric was born on December 15, 1964 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia to his parents, Edmond and Pauline Boudreau. Eric was the fourth of five children in the busy home on LeDrew Street. As a young boy Eric spent many hours hanging out at neighboring horse stables helping out where needed whether it be grooming and feeding the horses or cleaning the stalls. His passion was such that he got a pony of his own. He spent many hours with his best buddies playing with their Johnny West figures. Eric didn’t need the outfitting accessories as he made all his own! He spent many hours sewing and building all the saddles he could. As he grew older, the toys just kept getting bigger, better and louder! In his 20’s, Eric travelled by bike with his brother, Wayne and friend, Dave Burke, to the Laconia Bike Week in New Hampshire … Eric was hooked and so the story began. The cowboy inside of him drove him west in later years. In 1998, Eric and Wayne headed west to follow their dreams. Eric had a great career as an Oilfield Planner and Superintendent, starting with Quinn and the last few years with ClearStream Energy. In 2009, Eric met his soul mate Kerrie. Kerrie and Eric were married in Jamaica in November 2013. Eric got the family that he had always wanted when he married Kerrie, he married Kallen and Kole too. Eric was infectious. He had the most entertaining personality. Simply put, the lives Eric entered he touched. To know him was to love him. Eric leaves to mourn his loving wife, Kerrie and their boys, Kallen and Kole; his brothers, Brian (Yvonne), Wayne (Bonnie) residing in central Alberta; Mike (Marg) of Halifax; his sisters, Denise (Philip) and Willena (Danny) both of Cape Breton; parents-in-law, Albert (Tahanita) Dobia, Bev (Stan) Cech and brother-in-law, Kelly (Rena). Eric has numerous nieces and nephews that absolutely adored him and will miss him tremendously. Matthew, Rachelle, Erik and Rebecca of Cape Breton along with Chanell, Kendall, Taylor and Bret. As well as Matthew and Braden of Halifax and Christopher and Meagan of central Alberta. Eric was predeceased by his parents, Edmond in 2011 and Pauline in 2019. A Celebration of Eric’s life will be held on Saturday July 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Dickson Dam. To email condolences please visit www.snodgrassfuneralhomes.com.
