Several hurt in Jasper park crash

One person was seriously injured and others were sent to hospital Sunday after a multiple-vehicle collision in Jasper National Park. Jasper RCMP, Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade and Emergency Medical Services responded to the collision on Highway 16 at Snaring River around 6 p.m. Two tractor trailers and four passenger vehicles were involved in the crash, Jasper RCMP Sgt. Rick Bidaisee said Monday. One male was taken to hospital in critical condition. Bidaisee did not know the extent of the other injuries.
