City council does not deserve a pay raise

As a taxpayer, I am disgusted that our council has the nerve to ask for a raise. For what? They certainly are not doing what they are paid for.

They all should be fired — mayor, councillors and heads of departments for all the boo-boos that have been happening.

As a senior, I got a raise in my pension of 74 cents. Tell me what I can buy with this. I have lived in Edmonton since 1956 and I am ashamed to say I live here now. Shirley Pilt, Edmonton
