Catholic schools candidates make their pitches
All 19 candidates offer their ideas and opinions
Contests for mayor and council typically steal the spotlight in civic elections. But voters also have important choices to make in local school board races.
The Journal asked all Edmonton Catholic school trustee candidates three questions in advance of voters heading to the polls on Monday.
All 19 candidates responded to the survey. One of those questions was: What hasn’t the school board discussed recently that you think should be on the board’s radar, and why?
Candidates’ replies have been edited for length. Responses to all three questions are posted online atedmontonjournal.com/election.
