Preparing teachers and teacher assistants for the very diverse classrooms of today. The modern classroom is rapidly evolving. Classes are filled with English language learners, children suffering mental or physical challenges, and children who come to school hungry. We must also address how we will meet the growing demand for educational assistants. Gabrielle Johnson, 25

I would be interested in discussing the possibility of offering more opportunities for students and staff to grow in faith, potentially through short retreats. Additionally, I think it’s important to work for continued advancement in our district’s approach to the needs of students from lower income families, to ensure that all students have what they need to flourish.
