Hiring adults with disabilities pays off

I wanted to write this letter to thank an amazing, forwardthinking organization that has embraced the vision of integration in the workplace for adults with disabilities.

My daughter Katie has been employed for several months with Merit Contractors Association through Mercon Benefit Services and it has been a life-changing experience for her.

She has been welcomed in all aspects of the work community, including their social functions.

My daughter has been challenged to take on new tasks and is encouraged and appreciated in all areas of her work.

She is proud to come into work every day, and I am proud to say that my child works at Merit.

We need more inspirational, visionary industry leaders like Merit to be champions for our society’s vulnerable citizens.

Thank-you Merit for giving my daughter a chance to be part of an amazing team — well done.
