The product: Aldo x Rocky Barnes Collection

Why we love it: Canadian fashion footwear and accessories company Aldo has teamed up with California-based influencer Rocky Barnes for a new summertime release.

The capsule collection features sandals, earrings, eyewear and more, each one “designed for a summer adventure,” according to a news release. “This collection is inspired by the beautiful destinations I’ve travelled to and have fallen in love with,” Barnes said in the release. “The collaboration is everything I would want in a summer collection. It’s fun, easy, versatile and always a bit feminine.”

While the strappy heeled rope design and minimalist-chic flat sandals are sure to prove popular with Barnes’ followers and fans, it’s the kitten-heeled Sunny Delight that captured our attention.

The two-strap style, sported by Barnes at right, is designed to “evoke the sea and sand” and comes in a few pastel hues including burnt orange, crimson red, tan and ice blue, with a tapered heel.

“I love the minimalist design of these shoes. They’re delicate and feminine and add the perfect colour pop to any outfit, which is important when you’re curating a wardrobe for a summer on the go,” Barnes said.

“I’m especially in love with the ice blue colour, it’s so fresh but also timeless. They are definitely going to be my go-to styles for the summer.”
