Cops search for thief who stuffed pants with meat

strath­cona rcMP are ask­ing for the pub­lic’s help iden­ti­fy­ing a man ac­cused of fill­ing his pants with stolen meat.

ac­cord­ing to po­lice, about 1 p.m. satur­day, sept. 30, a man en­tered the costco Whole­sale at 2201 broad­moor blvd. in sher­wood Park, headed to the meat sec­tion and put “sev­eral” pack­ages of meat in the cov­er­alls he was wear­ing.

The man then left with­out pay­ing for the meat in his pants.

strath­cona rcMP re­leased sur­veil­lance im­ages to the pub­lic Wed­nes­day in the hope of iden­ti­fy­ing the sus­pected meat thief.
