Holmes Jr. tours Dolce Vita’s new Net Zero home

Mike Holmes Jr. slipped into the Ed­mon­ton area the other week as The Holmes Group and Holmes Ap­proved builder Dolce Vita Homes con­tinue to en­tice new home buy­ers. The pro­fes­sional con­trac­tor and tele­vi­sion host was on hand for a show home grand open­ing, as well as a pre-dry­wall tour of Dolce Vita’s new Net Zero home — lo­cated at 137 Green­bury Close in Spruce Grove — to see what goes into build­ing ul­tra-sus­tain­able homes. In­dus­try spe­cial­ists also at­tended the event, shar­ing in­for­ma­tion about the ad­vanced tech­nol­ogy and tech­ni­cal de­tails be­hind the con­struc­tion. Once com­pleted, Dolce Vita’s Net Zero home will pro­duces as much clean, re­new­able en­ergy as it con­sumes over the course of a year.
