BREAKING GOOD

Elle (Canada) - - Elle Letters -

When I saw your fashion spread “The Accidental Couple” [ELLE Fashion, May 2014], my jaw hit the ground. It was like you’d done a feature about my boyfriend and me! We started dating last year, and over the summer we both managed to break something— exactly three weeks apart to the day and the hour! I broke my foot dancing at a friend’s birthday, and he broke his hand on a night out for his friend’s birthday. Two Sundays were spent in the hospital getting X-rays and casts. “The summer of fracture,”as I call it, not only brought us closer but also showed me how well we can handle major events together. Sometimes being The Accidental Couple is a good thing. SHIRINE ELTAHER, TORONTO
